On Aug 23 and 24, we attended the 20th annual Berger Chevrolet all GM show in Grand Rapids MI. We made two stops along the way. First for lunch at Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury IN. We then went to Shipshewana In. and browsed a few of the shops and stores in this Amish town. It was then a short drive straight North from Middlebury to Grand Rapids MI. Had a great dinned after checking into the hotel and then went to Berger Chevy for the meet and greet on Friday night. On Saturday there were about 400 cars and trucks at the dealership for the show and a constant flow of vehicles up and down 28th street. It is their version of the Detroit Woodward Cruise. I talked to the organizer of the show , he said next year will be bigger and better as they will be celebrating the 95th year of Berger Chevrolet. John and Brittney Force were there for signing autographs and photos. They also had a display of COPO camaros, a portable chassis dyno, and some food vendors. All registered vehicles received a nice goody bag, t-shirt, and a very nice large umbrella that was used for sun on this day instead of rain.
Here are photos of some of the Chevelles in attendance.
